Teens:
¡Hola día de aventuras! Hoy comenzamos el día fuerte, montando a caballo y practicando el tiro con arco. Mientras, aprendíamos cómo se prepara una buena mochila de ruta. Después de comer nos fuimos al pueblo a realizar una súper gymkhana donde conocimos más sobre el pueblo donde estamos, sus tradiciones y habitantes. ¡¡¡Lo mejor de todo es que conseguimos dos chorizos regalados!!! Os despedimos desde el mirador de estrellas maravilloso en el que estamos ahora (¡Ya veréis que envidia de fotos!)
On our third day we welcomed adventure day!
Today we started a really exciting day of horseback riding and archery practice. Meanwhile our campers learned the best way to pack their rucksacks for a hike. After lunch, we went to a neighboring town to do a gymkhana to help us get to know the town, it’s residents, and local traditions. We got to know the people so well that we got 2 chorizos as gifts from the butchers! We left the town for the starry sky view point where we are currently! You guys will see how much fun we are having when we send the photos!
Hobbits
¡Hoy hemos tenido un día súper intenso! Hemos pasado gran parte de la mañana haciendo una gymkana para ayudar a nuestros amigos los Hobbits a encontrar el anillo perdido. Una magnífica oportunidad para colaborar y demostrar nuestras muchas habilidades como grupo. Además nos hemos preparado para los días que nos vienen: marchas y aventuras investigando por los alrededores.
Después de una ducha y una energizante comida nos hemos puesto en camino hacia el parque de cuerdas donde hemos disfrutado de aventuras en los árboles.
Esta noche disfrutamos de una agradable velada en el camping de Gredos, recuperando fuerzas para mañana.
We had such an intense today! We spent most of the morning doing a gymkana to try to help our friends, The Hobbits, to find their lost Ring. It was such a great time to cooperate and show our amount of social habilities. We had also got ready for the days that are coming:walks and adventures investigating all the area around.
After a shower and an energizer lunch we started the walk to Rope Park where we enjoyed our adventures around the trees.
Tonight we are going to enjoy an easy night in el Camping of Gredos, charging power for tomorrow.
TINIES
Ayer por la noche jugamos a Los cinco torreones. Era un juego donde teníamos que conseguir las tarjetas de cinco torres para salvar a la princesa de Navatormes. Teníamos que ser muy sigilosos y fue muy divertido.
Empieza un nuevo día en el campamento, pero hoy, en lugar de despertar en Navatormes, ¡Hemos despertado bajo el mar! Los monitores iban disfrazados de medusa, sirena, Neptuno, buzo, tiburón… ¡Era muy guay! Para comenzar bien el día hemos aprendido a bailar algunos pasos de salsa por parejas. Después, hemos hecho móviles con objetos del campa y los hemos decorado. Y para finalizar la mañana, hemos jugado a una súper gymkhana de agua donde había pruebas de todo tipo: llenar un cubo con agua y los ojos cerrados, pasa palabra, un limbo…
Después de comer y una sesión de duchas calentitas, hemos aprendido la canción del pirata, como buenos marineros. Después, hemos pasado toda la tarde jugando a “Los tesoros del mar”. Por equipos, teníamos un mapa para encontrar un sobre con algunas tarjetas con las que retar a otros compañeros. ¡Ha sido genial! Antes de cenar hemos preparado los macutos con ayuda de los monitores. ¡¡Mañana nos vamos de marcha!!
Last night we played The Five Towers. It was a game where we had to get cards from five towers to save the Princess of Navatormes. We had to be very stealthy and it was a lot of fun.
A new day begins at the camp, but today, instead of waking up in Navatormes, we have woken up under the sea! The councellors were dressed as jellyfish, mermaid, Neptune, diver, shark…. It was very cool! To get the day off to a good start we learned to dance a few salsa steps in pairs. Afterwards, we made mobiles with objects from the field and decorated them. And to end the morning, we played a super wáter-gymkhana where there were all kinds of tests: fill a bucket with water and eyes closed, password, a limbo…
After lunch and a session of hot showers, we learned the pirate’s song, like good sailors. Afterwards, we spent the whole afternoon playing «The treasures of the sea». By teams, we had a map to find an envelope with some cards to challenge other teams. It was great! Before dinner we prepared the backpacks with the help of the monitors. We’re leaving tomorrow!!
