TINIES
Ayer por la noche para terminar el día de Toy Story jugamos a “Juguetes y niños”, donde tuvimos que ganar vidas blancas e intentar conseguir las menos vidas negras posibles para derrotar a los niños malos y a los juguetes villanos. Justo antes de dormir, cantamos dos canciones, como siempre, y nos fuimos a la cama muy contentos.
Hoy por la mañana, después de regar a nuestro Mr. Potato, hemos jugado a los autos locos. Primero tuvimos que crear un coche de carreras y luego participamos en una carrera de obstáculos divertidísima. ¡Parecíamos los de Mario Kart! Después de comer cambiamos completamente el chip: ¡TARDE DE OLIMPIADAS! Primero tuvimos que decidir nuestro país, grito y bandera, y después tuvimos varias pruebas de velocidad, ingenio, estrategia y puntería. ¡Han ganado los gladiadores pero todos lo hemos pasado genial!
Yesterday night we played “Toys and children” to finish the day, where we had to win White lives and try not to get black lives to beat the bad children and villain toys. And just before sleeping, we sang two songs, as we always do, and went to the sleeping bag veeeeeery happy. J
This morning, after watering our Mr. Potatos, we played “Wacky races”. First we had to build our own race car and then, we participated in a very fun obstacle race. It seemed that we were in Mario Karts! After lunch and having a refreshing shower we completely changed the topic: OLYMPICS TIME! We had to decide which country we wanted to be, as well as war cry and flag. Then, we did several challenges: speed, strategy, aim and intelect. Gladiators won but we all had great fun!
TEENS:
¿Os acordáis que os contamos que los monitores nos tenían preparada una velada de relajación? ¿Y que la estábamos deseando? Pues bien, superó con creces nuestras expectativas. Estuvimos hablando de qué era relajarse, de qué técnicas existían de lo que nosotros considerábamos etc. Hicimos una práctica súper chula de mindfulness que nos ha ayudado a muchas a descubrir técnicas que nos pueden ayudar. Además abrimos nuestro yo interior y comentamos dentro del grupo cómo gestionábamos algunas actitudes de nuestra forma de ser y qué habíamos aprendido y estábamos orgullosas por ello este año. La verdad que fue fantástico y nos unió mucho más como grupo. Los monitores y monitoras dieron en la clave al prepararnos esta velada y nos dedicaron un texto precioso y motivador de crecimiento personal para antes de irnos a la cama.
Y… hablando del día de hoy… ¡Menudo día de artes hemos tenido! Esta mañana practicando “acrosport”, nos ha gustado muchísimo y hemos aprendido muchos portes que hemos realizado con mucha precaución y cuidado. Hemos empleado nuestras habilidades de cooperación, compañerismo y comunicación también dentro de varias actividades de improvisación y teatro. Después de comer, realizamos talleres de malabares y de marionetas utilizando nuestra creatividad. Y, después del snack comenzamos a preparar nuestro show para esta noche. Los monitores y monitoras nos han preparado un talent show y nos han felicitado por haber puesto muchísima motivación y creatividad durante todo el día. La verdad que nos apetece muchísimo que salgan cosas chulas ¡ya os contaremos mañana!

Remember our plan for an evening of relaxation after our long march day? And that we were really looking forward to it too? Well, it was even more awesome that we planned! We explored some insightful topics, like what it means to relax, existing techniques, and their applications. We did a super cool mindfulness practice that helped many of us discover techniques to provide some calm in our lives. We also opened up to our inner selves and discussed with the group how we managed some of our own attitudes for living. We were really happy to share with each other what we had learned and were proud of accomplishing this year. The truth is that it was a fantastic activity, and it brought us closer together as a group. The monitors gave us the key to prepare for this evening and dedicated a beautiful and motivating text for consideration before we went to bed.
And… speaking of today…. what an Arts day we´ve had! This morning, while practicing «acrosports», we were super into it, and we learned a lot of things step by step to execute these moves carefully and well. We also had a blast doing some improv and theater activities, we can really feel the love and spirit in our group. After lunch, we have a busy schedule of juggling and puppet workshops to tap into out creative sides. And, after the snack we started preparing our spectacular show for tonight. The monitors have prepared a talent show for us and we are thrilled to cheer on their motivation and creaitivty all throughout the day. The truth is that we really want to see some amazing peformances, we’ll tell you all about it tomorrow!
Hobbits
Ayer por la noche seguimos en el modo pirata y además de hacer unas cuantas canciones bajamos al bosque a buscar un cofre del tesoro con ayuda de unas pistas escondidas. Con mucha suerte y trabajo en equipo conseguimos una deliciosa bolsa de chuches como recompensa.
Durante el día de hoy hemos podido disfrutar primero de un montón de divertidos juegos de correr y reír. El punto fuerte de la mañana ha sido que los equipos eran ¡de niñas y niños contra monitoras y monitores! Por supuesto, han ganado las monitoras en puntos pero todas hemos ganado en sonrisas.
Por la tarde hemos tenido la suerte de preparar nuestros propios instrumentos y aprender técnicas de batukada. Tras mucho rato de ensayo vamos a disfrutar esta noche de un concierto conjunto con mayores y pequeños. ¡A disfrutar!
Yesterday night we continued playing in the pirate mode and, after singing some songs, we went to the forest to look for a treasure thanks to some pieces of clue hidden. We were so lucky and with a lot of team work we got a big bag of sweets as a gift.
During today we could have some fun first playing lots of shorts running and laughing games. The strongest part of the morning was that there were teams of kids wersus campers! For sure, the winners were councellors counting points but we all won lots of smiles.
In the afternoon we had the time to prepare our own instruments and learn some batukada thecnics. After lots of work we are going to enjoy a show night with tinnies and teens. Let’s enjoy!
