Hoy ha sido uno de los días más esperados por todos en este campamento porque por fin ha llegado una actividad que los que hemos venido más años estábamos deseando repetir: ¡el baile de gala! Antes de ello, por la mañana, todo el campamento nos hemos vuelto a juntar para realizar una Spartan Race divertidísima –y cansadísima- en la que hemos acabado bastante manchados y haciendo una gran guerra de agua y de polvos de colores. Después de una más que merecida ducha y de comer, los mayores hemos tenido nuestro turno de multiaventura, mientras pequeños y medianos hemos hecho talleres para preparar y decorar la gala: cadenetas, complementos para el photocall, talleres, bizcochos, brochetas de gominolas… Y luego, por la noche, todos nos hemos vestido lo mejor que hemos podido y hemos ido a cenar para después entrar por parejas a la magnífica noche de gala. Hemos bailado, cantado y reído muchísimo para terminar un día maravilloso.
ENGLISH CAMP 2018 – DAY 8
Today was one of the most anticipated days for everyone in camp because it was finally time for the activity that those of us who have been coming to camp for many years have most been looking forward to: the gala ball! But before the big event, in the morning all of camp took part together in a really fun – and very tiring – Spartan race, during which we all ended up very dirty, covered in coloured powder and soaked after a massive water fight. After a well-deserved shower and lunchtime, it was the older campers turn to have a go at the multiadventure activities, while the little ones and the younger kids took part in workshops to prepare food and decorate for the gala: paper-chains, props for the photocall, cakes, sweetie skewer. Come the evening, we all dressed to impress and had dinner before going to the wonderful gala ball with our dates. We danced, sang, and laughed a lot to top off a brilliant day.
