DÍA 1
¡Hola, familias!
¡Estamos súper contentos de haber empezado el campamento por fin! Cuando llegamos a las instalaciones, tuvimos un rato de tiempo libre para conocer a nuestra nueva familia: todos los niños y niñas con los que conviviremos estos días ¡y también los monitores y monitoras! Estuvimos jugando con ellos y conociendo la enorme finca en la que estamos, llena de zonas verdes y espacios abiertos.
Después de merendar, hicimos los grupos de las habitaciones y pudimos instalar todas nuestras cosas. Y tras la cena, ¡la velada a la luz de la luna! Los pequeños jugamos a “Smugglers” y los mayores a “Matrículas”. Después hablamos un ratito con nuestros monitores para conocernos mejor y… ¡a dormir!
DAY 1
Dear families,
We are so happy that we could finally start our summer camp! When we arrived at the hostel, we had some free time to get to know our new family: all the boys and girls that we will be living with during these days and of course the team of counsellors! We played with them and got to discover the huge facilities, full of green areas and open spaces.
After having the snack, we did the rooming and we could set all our things. After dinner… night activity under the moonlight! The little ones played “Smugglers” and the teens played “Number plates”. At the end of the day, we talked about our day with the counsellors and then… time to sleep!
DÍA 2
Con la emoción de estar en el campamento, ¡hoy nos hemos despertado casi todos antes de que nos llamaran los monitores!
Después de desayunar, los peques hemos jugado a El Dorado, una gran aventura para ir poco a poco conquistando diferentes islas hasta llegar la gran isla central. Mientras tanto, los mayores hemos jugado a Juegos XXL, como el Ajedrez Humano o el Tres en Raya en versión gigante, ¡ha estado genial!
Por la tarde, los pequeños hemos hecho una gynkhana de Deportes alternativos súper divertidos: dodgeball, foot-baseball, kho-kho… ¡no hemos parado de movernos! Los mayores mientras tanto hemos estado refrescándonos con una Gynkhana Acuática, ¡nos ha venido fenomenal, porque hacía mucho calor! Además, nos hemos aprendido algunas coreografías.
Por la noche, los peques jugamos al “Rescue the Duck”, nos lo hemos pasado de maravilla y queríamos volver a empezar. Y los mayores hicimos el juego de Black Smugglers, ¡hemos corrido tanto que hemos caído rendidos en la cama!
DAY 2
We were so excited about being at the camp, that today we woke up even before being called by the counsellors!
After breakfast, the little ones played El Dorado, a great adventure to conquer little by little different islands to get to the main Island. In the meanwhile, the teens played XXL Games, such as Human Chess, Tik tak toe… it was so much fun!
After lunch, “Pequeños” did Alternative Sports: dodgeball, foot-baseball, kho-kho… we haven’t stopped moving! Mayores could cool themselves off with a Water Scavenger Hunt, it was such a great idea because it was too hot! Moreover, we danced some choreographies.
At night, Pequeños played Rescue the Duck, we had so much fun that we wanted to start again! Mayores played Black Smuggles, we run so much that we fall asleep as soon as we got into bed!
DÍA 3
Hoy hemos hecho una actividad que nos ha encantado: Humor Amarillo. Hemos ido rotando por equipos por diferentes hinchables gigantes, en los que hemos saltado hasta que no podíamos más y hemos hecho competiciones: carreras de caballos, wipe out, gladiadores, futbolín humano… ¡nos lo hemos pasado genial! Por la mañana lo hemos hecho los pequeños y por la tarde, los mayores.
Para comer nos han preparado unos deliciosos garbanzos, ¡nos han gustado tanto que casi todos hemos repetido! Después de comer, los peques hemos hecho una Gynkhana de Agua y hemos terminado en guerra de todos contra todos… ¡ha estado genial, porque hacía mucho calor! Y de ahí, hemos ido directos a la ducha.
Los mayores hemos hecho Freakylimpic Games: unos juegos olímpicos súper originales con pruebas como lanzamiento de alpargata, ¡nos lo hemos pasado en grande! Y para terminar, nos hemos unido a la guerra de agua de pequeños.
Por la noche, los mayores hemos jugado a La Báscula: los monitores estaban escondidos y cuando los encontrábamos, teníamos que llevarlos a la báscula para ver cuántos puntos nos daban por cada uno. Los pequeños hemos jugado al Linternazo: teníamos que camuflarnos y escondernos para que los monitores intentaran adivinar quiénes éramos. Nos hemos camuflado tan bien que les ha costado un montón saber quién era cada uno, ¡nos hemos reído muchísimo!
Estamos deseando que empiece el siguiente día de campa, para descubrir qué nos tienen preparado nuestros monitores y monitoras.
DAY 3
Today we had an awesome activity: Yellow Humour. By teams, we rotated around different huge bouncy castles, we have jumped until we were exhausted and we have done some competitions: horse races, wipe out, gladiators, human foosball… we have had a really good time! The little ones did it in the morning and the teens, in the afternoon.
For lunch we had a delicious chickpeas stew, we liked it so much that most of us had seconds! After lunch, “pequeños” did a Water Gynkhana that finished with a Water War all against all… it was great, because it was so hot! When we were done, we went straight to the shower.
Mayores played Freakylimpic Games: a very original competition with tasks such as shoe-throwing, we had such a great time! Afterwards, we joined the Pequeños Water War.
After dinner, mayores played The Scale: the counsellors were hidden and we had to find them and bring them to the scale, to check how many points we got for each of them. Pequeños played Flash Light: we had to camouflage ourselves and counsellors had to guess who we were… we did it so well that they have had a hard time to discover us, we laughed so much!
We can’t wait for the next day to start, so that we can discover which other activities the counsellors have prepared for us.
DÍA 4
Hoy hemos hecho todos juntos la súper actividad de Summer Mix, un concurso por equipos animado por mucha música y todos nuestros monitores disfrazados de turistas playeros, hemos aprendido un montón de coreografías súper chulas, ¡incluso los que no bailamos mucho nos hemos animado!
Después de comer, nos hemos ido a la piscina para refrescarnos un poco. Además, hemos podido comprar chuches y teníamos toda la piscina para nuestro grupo ¡hemos estado tan a gusto!
Al volver de la piscina, los pequeños hemos hecho un taller de arcilla. Los monitores nos han dado ideas y nos han ayudado y cada uno ha creado una cosa diferentes: cactus, pingüinos, galletas… Cuando esté totalmente seco, lo pintaremos para darle el último toque. Los mayores hemos hecho Uno Para Ganar: una serie de juegos rápidos de habilidad que teníamos que completar en un minuto, ¡ha sido un verdadero reto!
Después hemos tenido tiempo para ducharnos y llamar casa. Y tras la cena, los monitores nos habían preparado un pedazo de concurso: Party Rock, con un montón de animación y música y con los monitores disfrazados con un montón de complementos. Teníamos que hacer pruebas como Tabú, Pictionary ciego, ¿Quién soy? o Taraoke… Nos lo hemos pasado en grande.
DAY 4
Afterwards we did all together a great activity called Summer Mix: a contest animated by our counsellors dressed up as tourists at the beach. They played many songs to liven up the activity –we are learning cool choreographies… Even those of us that don’t usually dance!
After lunch, we went to the swimming pool, where we could cool ourselves off. We could even buy some sweets and snacks and we had the whole swimming pool for our group, it was great!
When we came back from the pool, “pequeños” did a clay workshop. The counsellors gave us some ideas and helped us and each of us created something different: cactus, penguins, cookies… When it is totally dry, we will paint it to put the final touch. “Mayores” played One to Win: some ability games that we had to complete in one minute, it was a real challenge for us!
Afterwards, we had time to have a shower and call home. And at night, the counsellors had prepared such a cool contest: Party Rock, with a lot of animation and music. They were dressed up with so many accessories. We had tasks like Taboo, Blind Pictionry, Who am I? or Taraoke… We had such a great time.
DÍA 5
Por la mañana, los pequeños hemos jugado a Destroy the Egg. A través de un mercadillo, teníamos que conseguir materiales para conseguir un artefacto lo suficientemente resistente para proteger a nuestro huevo. Después, tenía que pasar por una serie de pruebas, como los churrazos, sin que el huevo se rompiera… ¡al final casi ninguno ha sobrevivido! Pero la verdad es que nos hemos reído muchísimo. Por otro lado, los mayores hemos hecho una Gynkhana deportiva en la que hemos hecho juegos tan originales como el volley-toalla o el kho-kho, un juego originario de Indonesia. ¡Nos ha encantado!
Después de comer, los pequeños hemos jugado a Montgomery. Cada uno de nosotros tenía un personaje diferente y dependiendo de a quién pillásemos, podíamos ganar o perder puntos. Luego hemos tenido un ratito más relajado para pintar nuestras creaciones de arcilla del día anterior. Durante la tarde, los mayores hemos tenido una actividad muy especial: hemos organizado una Feria. Por grupos, teníamos que montar diferentes puestos con pruebas, para que durante la velada, los pequeños pudiesen venir y probar cada juego a cambio de “garbanzos”, que eran sus monedas. Ha salido genial, los peques se lo han pasado en grande, ¡y los mayores también!
DAY 5
In the morning, pequeños played Destroy The Egg. There was a market where we could buy different materials in order to build a device resistant enough to protect our egg. Afterwards, the device had to go through different challenges, such as “noodle hit” and the egg had to survive in order to win… most of them died, but we had so much fun! In the meanwhile, mayores did a Sports Gynkhana where we played very original games, as towel-volley or kho-kho, a typical game from Indonesia. We loved it!
After lunch, pequeños played Montgomery. Each of us had a different character and depending on whom we caught, we could win or lose points. After that, we had some chilling time to paint our clay creations from yesterday. In the afternoon, mayores had a very special activity: we organised a Feria. By groups, we had to create different stands with tasks, for the pequeños to play after dinner. They could choose where to play in exchange for chickpeas, which were their money. It was amazing, pequeños enjoyed a lot and mayores too!
DÍA 6
Por la mañana, los pequeños hemos ido a hacer piragüismo al Embalse del Atazar, ¡nos ha encantado! Hemos remado hasta una pequeña playa al otro lado del embalse, donde hemos podido dejar la piragua y refrescarnos un poco. Los mayores nos hemos quedado en el campamento, hemos aprovechado para recoger las habitaciones y después hacer unas pulseras con hilos y aceite súper chulas, ¡estas pulseras ya son un símbolo del campamento!
Después de comer, los pequeños estábamos cansados del kayak, por lo que hemos tenido un ratito de descanso más tranquilo, y a continuación hemos jugado a Memory. En dos equipos, cada uno tenía que intentar llegar hasta la base del otro para copiar unos dibujos que tenían escondidos, ¡sin que te pillaran por el camino! Nos lo hemos pasado muy bien y los resultados han sido muy divertidos. Mientras tanto, ha sido turno de los mayores de ir a las piraguas, ha hecho una tarde súper buena y con poco viento, ¡perfecta para esta actividad!
Y por la noche, hemos hecho todos juntos Furor. Los monitores y monitoras han aparecido vestidos de los años 80, que era la temática, ¡llevaban unos looks súper locos! La verdad es que nos lo hemos pasado pipa cantando y bailando. Hemos caído en la cama como troncos.
DAY 6
Today in the morning, “pequeños” went kayaking to the Atazar Reservoir, it was awesome! We rowed up to a small beach on the other side of the reservoir, where we could leave our kayaks and cool ourselves off a little bit. Mayores stayed at the camp and we took our time to tidy up our rooms and then we did bracelets with threads and oil, they are so cool and they have become a symbol of this camp!
After lunch, pequeños were a bit tired after the kayak, so we have some time to relax and have a nap and afterwards, we played Memory. In two teams, we had to try to get to the other team’s base in order to copy some drawings that they had hidden without being caught on the way! We had so much fin and the results were so funny. In the meanwhile, mayores went to the kayak, it was such a nice afternoon with good weather and little wind, just perfect for this activity!
At night, we played Furor all together. Our counsellors showed up dressing in 80s’ style, which was the theme of the activity. Their outfits were crazy! We had such a good time singing and dancing. We slept like a baby.
DÍA 7
Hoy por la mañana, los pequeños hemos estado jugando a juegos versión XXL, como el Buscaminas, el Ajedrez Humano o el Tres en Raya. Después, hemos preparado la decoración para la actividad de la noche: guirnaldas, globos, serpentinas y hasta un libro de firmas para la el baile. Mientras tanto, los mayores hemos hecho “The Quest”, ¡un juego en el que la rapidez y el ingenio eran muy necesarios! Además, hemos bailado todas las coreografías que nos estamos aprendiendo.
Después de comer, hemos hecho todos juntos Multiaventura: escalada, tirolina, tiro con arco, slackline, kho-kho y un nuevo juego que se han inventado los monitores, los bolos manjironeños… ¡hemos aprendido y disfrutado un montón! Luego hemos merendado y después hemos tenido un rato para hablar con nuestras familias y contarles lo bien que nos lo hemos pasado.
Por la noche, hemos tenido el Baile de Gala. Nos hemos arreglado todos para ir a la pista de baile que nos habían preparado los pequeños. Nos han pintado la cara con pintura fluorescente que brillaba en la oscuridad, ¡una pasada! Hemos bailado un algunas canciones que nos conocíamos nosotros y otras coreografías que nos han enseñado los monitores, ¡se nos ha pasado el tiempo volando!
DAY 7
This morning, the Spartans did some XXL Games. The counsellors had prepared huge versions of Minesweeper, Tik tak toe, Human Chess… it was such an original idea and we had so much fun. Afterwards, we prepared the decoration for the night activity: garlands, balloons, streamers and even a Prom Book for the Ball. In the meanwhile, Mayores played The Quest, a game where speed and inventiveness were indispensable! Moreover, we danced all the choreographies that we are learning.
After lunch, we did Multiadventure all together: climbing, slackline, zip line, archery, kho-kho and a new game that our counsellors have invented, Manjirón bowling… we learnt a lot and had so much fun! Then we had the snack and we had time to call home and tell our families about all the cool activities that we are doing.
After dinner, we had The Ball. We dressed up with our favourite clothes and went into the dancing area that the “pequeños” had decorated. We had fluorescent face painting -it looked amazing! We danced many songs that we knew already and some other choreographies that the counsellors showed us. Time has flew during the night activity!
DÍA 8
Hoy los pequeños hemos arrancado el día jugando a Uno Para Ganar: una serie de juegos rápidos de habilidad que teníamos que completar en un minuto, ¡ha sido un verdadero reto! Los mayores hemos jugado al Quidditch: primero hemos creado nuestras propias casas, con sus banderas y nombres, y después hemos jugado con las quaffle, las buldgers y la snitch, ¡nos hemos metido a tope en el juego!
Por la tarde, los mayores hemos jugado a Tribus Urbanas. Unos éramos los hippies, otros los rockeros, otros los pijos y otros los chonis. Nos hemos caracterizado y luego teníamos que pasar varias pruebas interpretando nuestro papel… ¡nos hemos reído muchísimo!
Los pequeños nos hemos ido a jugar a un descampado que tenemos cerca del campamento, a las afueras del pueblo. Allí hemos jugado a Atrapa la Bandera, ¡nos lo hemos pasado genial! Hacía calor, pero los monitores nos han estado disparando con pistolas de agua para refrescarnos. Y cuando hemos llegado al campamento… ¡los mayores nos estaban esperando con una guerra de agua!
Por la noche, tuvimos una de las actividades estrella del campa… Los repetidores ya la conocíamos y llevábamos todo el campamento preguntándonos cuándo sería. Un concurso de televisión llamado Fervor, con pruebas de cultura general, refranes, bailes… ¡y hasta tenía pulsadores que se iluminaban! Nos hemos motivado un montón y nos hemos parado de animar durante toda la velada.
DAY 8
Today pequeños started the day playing One to Win: some ability games that we had to complete in one minute, it was a real challenge for us! Mayores played Quidditch: in the begining we created our own houses, with their flags and names, and then we played with the quaffle, the buldger and the snitch, we were so motivated!
In the afternoon, mayores played Tribus Urbanas. Some of us were hippies, some others rockers, another group were the posh people and the last ones the chavs. We dressed up to characterize ourselves and then we had to go through different challenges playing our role… we had so much fun!
Pequeños went to play to the countryside, near the camp. We played Capture the Flag, we had so much fun! It was very hot, but the counsellors kept shooting at us with water guns. When we got back to the camp, mayores were waiting for us ready for a water war!
At night, we had one of the star activities at the camp. The campers that have come here before already knew it and they were asking all the time when we would play it. A TV Show called Fervor that includes tasks of general knowledge, proverbs, dancing… it even had two push buttons with light! We were so motivated and we could not stop cheering up during the whole activity.
DÍA 9
Hoy los peques hemos empezado la mañana con el juego de Hundir la Flota. Primero hemos construido cada equipo su propio barco, ¡nos han quedado súper chulos! Y después en un tablero gigante que han montado los monitores en el suelo, hemos intentado, a través de diferentes dinámicas, acercarnos a los barcos de otros equipos para poder hundirlos.
Los mayores, por la mañana hemos jugado a Salvar al Huevo. Teníamos que conseguir una serie de materiales en una subasta para luego poder construir nuestra nave. En la nave teníamos que meter un huevo y luego tirarlo desde lo alto de la tirolina… el objetivo era que los huevos sobrevivieran.
Después hemos ido a la piscina, y a la vuelta, hemos preparado el macuto porque nos íbamos de marcha y a dormir fuera. Hemos salido después de merendar e hicimos una ruta muy agradable hasta el Embalse del Villar. Al llegar allí, preparamos las esterillas y los sacos de dormir. Después cenamos todos en círculo al lado del embalse, ¡las vistas eran impresionantes! Y más tarde, hicimos una velada de canciones de campamento, ¡cada cual más original! Al final del día, nos dormimos viendo las estrellas que tantos meses llevábamos sin poder observar.
DAY 9
Today “pequeños” started the morning playing Master&Comander. First of all, we had to build our own boats for each team, they were so cool! Afterwards, on a huge board that the counsellors had set on the ground, we tried to get closer to the other teams’ boats through different dynamics in order to sink them.
Mayores played Save the Egg. We needed to get some materials at an auction to build a device. This device had to carry the egg, we threw it from the top of the zipline and the objective was to make the egg survive.
After lunch, we went to the swimming pool and when we got back, we prepared our backpacks to go trekking and do bivouac. We left after the snack and we did a very nice route up to the Villar Reservoir. Once we got there, we set the sleeping bags and the mats. Afterwards, we had dinner all together in a circle next to the water -the views were awe-inspiring! Later we did camp songs… all of them were very original and funny!
At the end of the day, we fell asleep watching the stars, which we have not been able to see for a long time.
DÍA 10
Hoy nos hemos despertado todos bastante pronto. Al estar durmiendo al raso, con los primeros rayos de sol hemos ido abriendo los ojos, aunque nos hemos quedado en el saco hasta la hora de desayunar. Cuando nos hemos levantado, hemos recogido todas nuestras cosas y hemos tomado un colacao fresquito con magdalenas para recargar las pilas, ¡pues teníamos que hacer la marcha de vuelta! Hemos caminado todos juntos hasta el albergue por una ruta más corta que la del día anterior. Al llegar, hemos descansado un ratito y después de comer, nos hemos ido a la piscina, ¡el bañito nos ha venido de perlas!
Después de comer, por grupos hemos hecho un Lip dub Upside Down. Es decir, un videoclip de una canción, grabado en una sola toma, en el que cada grupo había montado una performance o coreografía diferente para un trozo de la canción, pero con un toque especial: al montarlo, el vídeo se reproduce al revés, empezando por el final y acabando por el principio. ¡Creemos que ha quedado súper chulo! Aunque los monitores aún están dando los últimos toques, ¡tenemos muchísimas ganas de ver el resultado!
Y por la noche, estábamos todos bastante cansados de la marcha, así que hemos tenido cine en inglés. Hemos visto La Familia Addams, tumbados en nuestras esterillas, con el saco… ¡y hasta con palomitas! Ya quedan poquitos días de campa y queremos reservar energías para poder disfrutarlos al máximo.
DAY 10
Today we woke up very early. As we were sleeping outside, we opened our eyes with the first rays of sunshine, but we stayed in the sleeping bags until breakfast time. When we got up, we cleaned everything up and had a cool colacao with muffins to charge our batteries -we had to walk back to the camp! However, today we took a shorter route than yesterday and we did it all together. When we arrived at the facilities, we had some time to rest. After lunch, we went to the swimming pool; it was a much-needed refreshment!
After lunch, by groups, we did an Upside Down Lipdub: a videoclip of a song, recorded in one shot, where each group prepared a choreography or a performance for a part of the song. But it had a special touch: when editing it, it is played backwards, starting by the end and finishing with the beginning. We cannot wait to see the result once the counsellors are done editing it!
And at night we were all very tired because of the trekking, so we had a Cinema Session in English. We watched Addams Family, lying down on our mats with our sleeping bags… and we even had popcorn! There are only a couple of days left and we want to keep our energy in order to enjoy to the fullest extent.
DÍA 11
Hoy los pequeños hemos arrancado el día con los Deportes Alternativos. Los monitores y monitoras nos han enseñado un montón de deportes que no conocíamos, ¡súper divertidos y entretenidos! Por otro lado, los mayores hemos estado jugando a Hundir la Flota: hemos creado un barco en el que teníamos que caber todos, con protección y defensas para cuando nos atacasen nuestros contrincantes con esponjas y globos de agua, ¡nos ha venido genial mojarnos un poco!
Después de comer y de un rato de tiempo libre, hemos retomado nuestros Récord Guinness. Siguiendo con los mismos retos de otros días, hemos intentado superarnos unos a otros: mayor tiempo saltando la comba, número de flexiones en un minuto, aguantar sujetando un churro en la mano en vertical… ¡nos hemos motivado un montón!
Por la tarde hemos jugado todos juntos a Hungry Hippos. En cuatro equipos, cada uno vestido de su color, hemos hecho varias competiciones: pillar a otros equipos según el color establecido en el tablero, carrera de aros y la prueba estrella, ¡el traga bolas!
Y por la noche… ¡una actividad estrella! Los monitores nos hicieron creer que íbamos a hacer un juego súper aburrido y de repente… entraron con la furgoneta en el campamento, vestidos de científicos, para comunicarnos que estaba ocurriendo un apocalipsis zombie en el pueblo, ¡y teníamos que encontrar la cura! Esquivando a los zombies, tuvimos que buscar unos códigos en un mapa, que sólo aparecían con luz ultravioleta, y llevárselos al científico para que los introdujese en su ordenador… ¡al final salvamos el campamento!
DAY 11
Today pequeños started the morning with Alternative Sports. The counsellors taught us how to play many sports that we did not know; they were so fun and entertaining! Mayores played Master&Commander: we had to create a boat big enough to fit everyone in the team inside, with protective elements to defend ourselves from the other teams attacks with sponges and water balloons, it was so nice to get a bit wet!
After lunch, we had free time and afterwards, we continued with the Guinness Records. Taking the same challenges of last day, we tried to beat each other: rope skipping, push-ups, holding a noodle on the palm… we were so motivated!
In the afternoon we did all together Hungry Hippos. Divided into four teams, each team dressed up in their colour, we did different competitions: catch people from other teams according to the colour on the board, hula-hoop race and the star challenge… the hungry hippos!
And at night… one of the most exciting activities! The counsellors made us believe that we were going to do a very boring game, but suddenly, some of them entered into the camp with the van, dressed up as scientists, and told us that there was a zombie apocalypse in the village. We needed to find the cure! Running away from zombies, we had to look for some codes on a map, they were hidden and we could only see them with ultraviolet light! Then we had to bring them to the scientist’s computer… and we saved the camp from the apocalypse!
DÍA 12
Por la mañana hemos tenido una actividad súper original y divertida: “Lo que el covid se llevó”. Era una gynkhana en la que cada monitor representaba una de las fiestas que no hemos podido celebrar en estos meses: ¡desde Carnaval hasta San Fermín, pasando por Semana Santa, Las Fallas, El Descenso del Sella, La Tomatina o la Feria de Abril! En cada posta teníamos que resolver unos acertijos o pasar algunas pruebas de ingenio y habilidad, ¡nos han encantado! Incluso hemos tenido que buscar los huevos de Pascua por toda la finca.
Después de comer, hemos ido un rato a la piscina, ¡con esta ola de calor se agradece un montón! De vuelta en el campamento, jugamos todos juntos al Bingo Humano, ¡nos ha encantado! Por equipos, teníamos los números del cartón escritos en las manos, y cuando hacíamos línea, podíamos tirar un barreño de agua a otro equipo, además había números especiales con pruebas y canciones para bailar.
Por la noche, los mayores hemos hecho acrosport y acroyoga, ¡nos ha gustado mucho! Los peques hemos tenido taller de relajación: yoga, masajes y un cuento. Nos hemos ido a la cama ya medio dormidos, aunque con un poco de pena, porque mañana ya es el último día de actividades.
DAY 12
In the morning, we had a very original activity: Gone with covid. It was a scavenger hunt where every counsellor represented one of the festivities that we could not celebrate the past months: Carnival, San Fermín, Easter, Las Fallas, El Descenso del Sella, La Tomatina and La Feria de Abril. We had to solve some riddles and go through different tasks and we had to look for some Easter eggs around the facilities. We had a great time!
After lunch, we went to the swimming pool, so nice in the middle of this heat wave! Once we were back at the camp, we played Human Bingo, we had such a good time! By teams, we had the numbers written on our hands and when we had a line, we could throw a bucket of water to another team. Moreover, there were special numbers with challenges and songs to dance.
At night, mayores did acrosport and acroyoga, we loved it! Pequeños had a relaxation workshop: yoga, massages and a story. We went to bed falling asleep already. We were a bit sad because tomorrow is the last day with activities.
DÍA 13
Hoy ha sido un día bastante tranquilito, pues ya nos toca ir recogiendo todo. Por la mañana, los pequeños hemos hecho un taller de cuadernos, en los que luego hemos podido ponernos dedicatorias y apuntar nuestros datos de contacto. Mientras tanto, los mayores hemos grabado vídeos virales sobre temas que se nos han ocurrido a nosotros mismos.
Luego hemos hecho la última ronda de Récord Guinness, ¡mañana nos darán los premios! Y después, hemos estado repasando todo lo que hemos hecho en el campa y rellenando las evaluaciones. Además, hemos empezado a hacer las maletas.
Por la noche, hemos tenido una súper fiesta de despedida, con luces, música, refrescos y patatas, ¡nos lo hemos pasado en grande! ¡Qué pena que se acabe ya el campamento!
DAY 13
Today we had a very quiet day –we started packing everything up. In the morning, pequeños did a notebook workshop, that they used to write dedications to each other and note down the contact details. Mayores recorded some viral videos that we invented ourselves.
After lunch, we did the last round of Guinness Record, tomorrow we will get the awards! Then, we reviewed the camp activities that we did in order to fill in the evaluation forms. Afterwards, we started packing up.
At night, we had a super farewell party with lights, music, drinks and snacks, we had so much fun! We don’t want the camp to finish!
